Security Flaw, Found in IE

A new security flaw has been found in Microsoft's Internet Explorer, and Microsoft haven't been able to fix it yet.

The flaw would allow other people to hack your computer and steal passwords. An estimate of 10,000 websites have already been compromised.

Microsoft Security Advice:

• Change IE security settings to high
• Switch to a Windows user account with limited rights to change a PC's settings
• With IE7 or 8 on Vista turn on Protected Mode
• Ensure your PC is updated
• Keep anti-virus and anti-spyware software up to date

Another option would be to switch to another browser until the flaw has been fixed:

• Firefox
• Opera
• Chrome
• Safari

Greatfather Winter is here!

Starting today, 15th of December, until the 2nd of January, Greatfather Winter will be visiting the cities of Ironforge and Orgrimmar.

Achievements (Alliance):

On metzen! save Metzen the reindeer. quest: Metzen the Reindeer.

With a little helper from my friends. earn 50 honorable kills as a little helper from the winter vondervolt machine.

Scrooge. throw a snowball at King Magni Bronzebeard during the feast of winter veil. You can buy a snowball from npc's if you don't have one. The King is sitting on his throne in Ironforge.

Fa-la-la-la-Ogri'la. complete the bomb them again! quest while mounted on a flying reindeer during the feast of winter veil. quest: Bomb them again!

'Tis the season. during the feast of winter veil, wear 3 pieces of winter clothing and eat Graccu's mince meat fruitcake. For the winter clothing: green winter hat, green winter clothes, red winter hat, red winter clothes, winter boots. winter hats are boss drops, winter clothes are made by tailors, winter boots are made by leatherworkers. (FYI: the boots are not made of leather, so anyone can wear 'em). The fruitcake on the other hand, can be obtained from the gift rewards from the npc's.

Crashin' & thrashin'. gain 25 crashes with your crashin' thrashin' racer during the feast of winter veil. You need the crashin' & thrashin' controller for this achievement, which can be obtained from the gift rewards from npc's as well.

Simply abominable. complete the quest to retrieve the stolen smokeywood pastures' stolen treats and recieve a smokywood pastures' thank you. Quest: simply abominable.

Let it snow. during the feast of winter veil, use a handful of snowflakes on each of the race/class combinations listed below. You can get snowflakes when you blow kisses at winter revelers.

Bros. before ho ho ho's. use mistletoe on the alliance "brothers" during the feast of winter veil. you can get mistletoes by blowing kisses to revelers too.

The winter veil gourmet. during the feast of winter veil, use your culinary expertise to produce a gingerbread cookie, eggnog, and hot apple cider. you need cooking skill at most of 325 to complete this achievement. recipes can be bought from smokywood pastures npc's.

He knows if you've been naughty. open one of the presents underneath the winter veil treeonce they are available. you can start opening the presents underneath the trees starting the 25th of december.

A frosty shake. suring the feast of winter veil, use your winter veil disguise kit to become a snowman and then dance with another snowman in dalaran. the winter veil disguise kit will be mailed to you after doing a couple of winter veil quests.
